Assert Peer Discussion Group

The Peer Discussion Group meets fortnightly to allow autistic people to communicate with each other on issues they would like to explore. The group alternates between meeting online and in person so we hope anyone interested can attend. Each session has one or more topics or talks to be discussed in an environment that enables people on the spectrum to talk freely without pressure to translate communications into neurotypical language. This is an opportunity to share experiences and to learn from each other in an attempt to understand ourselves better and the neurotypical world we have to navigate through.
